Biking enthusiast will find everything here from gentle trips with the family to demanding day tours for more active holidaymakers. Routes are of all levels of difficulty.

Fantastic trails for bikers
With trails through forests, on meadow paths and contemplative alpine trails, over gentle and steep slopes, uphill and down dale.
It’s time to get serious for the downhill cruisers. Maybe on the route to the Türlwand in front of the imposing backdrop of the Dachstein south wall, over the new alpine pasture route from the Neustattalm to the Bachlalm or on the established stages of the famous Alps Tour.
Several of the local mountains are open for down hill mountain biking with marked trails. The Planai is part of the world cup circuit and is open to the public. Trails are graded and all equipment can be easily hired nearby.
3-counties ride around the Dachstein
Ramsau am Dachstein as the start and finish. To Filzmoos, Abtenau, Gosau and on to Bad Aussee, Obertraun. Clockwise or anti-clockwise. This “Dachstein circuit” is in any case a further dimension in the network of trails for insatiable bikers.
Cycling tip: Grahsteg family bike tour
Family excursion in Ramsau. The Ramsau plateau stretches from Rössing to Vorberg. Pass pretty farmhouses with overflowing window boxes. Fabulous footpaths make this high plateau an ideal holiday destination for families and people of all ages.
The mountain bike route is also particularly suitable for families. Mostly gentle inclines and few steep passages ensure the less practised bikers enjoy cycling.
Enns River Family Bike Trail
Gentle and picturesque bike trail which runs along the Enns River in the valley taking in Schladming, Radstadt and Altenmarkt. Wondeful day trip for the whole family. Plenty of opportunities to stop along the river for refreshment.
